Speaking about the culture of boycott, Jha said that it has always existed but it is just that people are using social media as a medium of communication. He said that if Dangal and Lagaan had flopped, it would have been understood that it has been affected due to Boycott. But Lal Singh Chaddha did not live up to the expectations of the audience. “I’ve yet to find anyone who’s said, ‘Wow, what a movie that was,'” he said.

Although Jha acknowledged Aamir’s efforts and hard work, he said that Laal Singh Chaddha’s failure can be blamed on not only the boycott tendency, but also the content of the film that comes into play.

After tasting a huge success with the Ashram web series starring Bobby Deol as Nirala Baba, Jha is now coming up with a slice-of-life film called Matteo Ki Sackle which is the story of a daily wage labourer, his family and his cycle. , which is very dear to them.
