Salman Khan fans are quite eager for No Entry 2. The sequel to the blockbuster was said to be one of the superstar’s favorite projects. Recently, we also heard how Anees Bazmee had prepared the script for No Entry 2. He was to start filming next year i.e. early 2023. But now it is being told that Salman Khan and team have decided to discontinue No Entry 2. Completely.

A source told Bollywood Hungama that Salman Khan was very excited about the project. He loved the script written by Anees Bazmee, which is considered a laugh riot. In fact, he felt it to be one of the funniest scripts I’ve read in the past decade, according to the source. But several legal hurdles were an issue. The fact that Sahara One Motion Pictures is now a defunct firm did not help matters. The source told the entertainment site that Salman Khan thought it would be easy to sort out the matter, but it was too complicated.

The second issue was the skyrocketing cost. It seems that the team wanted to pay everyone associated with the old film and get the rights. However, when he calculated the full cost, it was well ahead of the budget set. The source said that people close to Salman Khan felt that people may raise issues after the film goes on floors. They were likely to create complications by third parties as the whole thing is not very transparent in the legal sense. This will increase the cost and budget of the film even more.

Finally, Salman Khan has decided to drop No Entry 2. The superstar is now looking at the script to start a new film from January or February 2023. Anees Bazmee is also busy with his superhero comedy.
